Recipe Ingredients
<strong>2 cups</strong> divided <a href="https://www.lays.com/products/lays-classic-potato-chips">LAY'S® Classic Potato Chips</a>
<strong>2 tbsp</strong> mayonnaise
<strong>2 slices</strong> white sandwich bread
<strong>1/2 cup</strong> shredded sharp (old) cheddar cheese
<strong>1 tbsp</strong> unsalted butter
Recipe Directions
Place 1 cup LAY’S® Classic Potato Chips on parchment paper–lined baking sheet; using rolling pin, finely crush.
Spread mayonnaise over 1 side of each bread slice. Press mayo side of each slice into crushed chips.
Sandwich cheddar between the 2 bread slices, chips-side facing out.
In skillet set over medium-low heat, melt butter. Cook grill cheese sandwich, flipping once halfway through the cook time, for 4 to 6 minutes or until golden and toasted, and cheese is melted.
Cut sandwich in half and serve with remaining potato chips on the side.
